Plyometrics

Fast and slow twitch muscle fibers, explosive power, raw power, endurance, plyometrics, concentric and eccentric contractions, elasticity.

These are all parts of the magic of training.

In earlier texts, we learned what their purpose is.

Plyometrics, which many people think of as a term for quick explosive jumps, is actually not just about the lower body. And it's not just pushing.

In this way, every movement can be practiced. If you know the methods by which you will qualitatively transform raw strength into an explosive, fast muscular reaction, then you know the true charm of training.

In my last video clips, I showed this in the example of pull-ups. My throws in judo or ground wrestling become practically undefendable when I train like this. I don't want to talk about the job of a coach now, but I will focus on efficiency and on strengths and mistakes that can lead to injuries.

In order to experience plyometrics, not just as a mechanical movement, but as real progress that you feel with all your lungs, you need to know how to extract maximum raw power.

The raw power of the powerlifter leads to a constant tone of the muscle fibers, which in turn causes a loss of muscle elasticity.

Attacking such a muscle with a quick explosive movement can easily cause the muscle to tear.

If you gradually increase the explosive movement with parallel gradual stretching, it will be much better.

However, the most effective way is if you use isometrics, Because this way you lose the least amount of strength.

The number of repetitions in plyometric training should not exceed eight repetitions. The maximum effect is given by four to six maximum repetitions.

It is very effective training in the form of a super series, where you alternate between a series for strength and a series for explosive power. Isometrics, which almost no one applies, is very important in this process and contributes to the maximum efficiency of this type of training.

The main reason why almost everyone does not achieve even half of what they can achieve, is precisely the lack of knowledge of such methods in training.

Of course, this requires increased muscle engagement in training and is more difficult than modern training, which is dedicated only to muscle activation at the most basic level.

With the right nutritional and supplement support, you will see improvements in strength, speed, and flexibility with each subsequent workout.

An increase in muscle mass does not condition this type of strength gain.

It's magic when, along with explosive power, you also achieve accuracy in performing movement techniques, and the magic word that makes all of this possible is isometrics.

However, we will leave that for one of the following texts, and I hope that every time I help at least a little in discovering the secret magic of training.
