Selection
In each subsequent blog, I will write about situations that are more important for the job of a bodyguard and about the principles that you must keep if you want to be a real bodyguard.
In my soon-to-be-published book "Real System of Bodyguards", you will find among the first titles exactly the way in which I went through the training and what kind of selection was made during that training. This is exactly one of the most important parts of the whole story about the job of a bodyguard.
Our story started in very bad conditions. War environment, sanctions, political turmoil, extreme nationalism, poverty, and the complete collapse of the economy. However, taught by previous experience, the people who started the first school for bodyguards looked to be completely neutral from any influence, especially political.
From the three groups that always numbered about 170 participants, that is, 500 people, after the end and strict selection, barely fifteen graduated. Fifteen very ready people for the job of a bodyguard. The largest number fell due to physical unpreparedness, too strong sparring, and political commitment. You had to be neutral to do this job because the clients were mostly foreigners and businessmen who were not interested in politics.
I remember that when the agency released the ad we did not have enough people to cover all the applicants for protection. And many people really needed it. This is actually the very beginning when we didn't have any problems nor did the risk in the business increase, in fact, it was getting smaller.
The moment when, at the request of the top of the state, we are asked to do jobs that are justified as being of the greatest national interest, our troubles begin, and the slow but sure disintegration of the completely healthy story that was started at the beginning. This is a trap from which you cannot get out without serious consequences (if it is at all possible to get out).
My intention is to start content about the job of bodyguards who protect people who are rich businessmen, and people who are completely outside of any talk about politics, racial discrimination, extreme nationalism, and religious fanaticism. Only in this way can you truly be a bodyguard; in all others, you are a paid soldier who works under the orders of the people who pay you.
I do not think that I am causing any harm to anyone, and my only goal is for people who really need real security in the course of their activities, to provide it truly and realistically.
