"The Magic Bag"
"There is a man; then he is worth for a hundred people, but there are a hundred of them; then they are worth for one."
You can turn someone into a bodyguard, and someone into not even a human.
The theoretical story itself, in terms of explaining this work, is quite serious. If we talk about situations experienced during work, then it is very interesting to listen.
Today's story is called "The Magic Bag" and is set in my first published book.
During the work on personal protection, there may be cases when you have to change all your plans and go into isolation without any delay. You don't have a second to spare, so you have to move immediately to a place that is pre-planned for such situations.
For example, you may return from a meeting with a client and be informed that there is a high risk of an attack upon the client's arrival home. In such unfavorable conditions, the most practical solution for you is to go into isolation for a while.
Several times I found myself in such trouble that I had to go into isolation and spend more than 35 days. Usually, in such cases, you choose an abandoned place outside of civilization, such as a log cabin, cottage, or mountain house, usually deep in the mountains. You stay there until the problematic situation is resolved.
The only contact is through a pre-prepared phone number that is given to a pre-determined person!
I mention all this to help you understand that practical problems can easily arise if you are not prepared for such a situation. If you are short of toothpaste, soap, toilet paper, shaving kit, flashlights, and other such necessities, it will not be easy.
You can certainly imagine what it looks like when you are in a completely 'lost' place without a mobile phone and people, and especially without toilet paper!

Given that you can encounter such a situation at any time during your work, and you may not have the luxury of buying necessary things along the way (due to the possibility of information disclosure), my recommendation is to always carry a travel bag with you - all necessary things prepared in your car. This should include personal hygiene items, a lighter and lamps, mosquito repellent, water disinfection tablets, vitamins, bandages and a first aid kit, a radio, antibiotics, aspirin, and so on.
The bag should be kept in the trunk of the car, and if used, it should always be updated.
This part is very important and will enable you to keep up to date with events "at home".
Remember to have at least one other trusted confirmation contact to confirm the information given to you by your main contact.
Whenever you receive important information from a primary contact, immediately call another contact to confirm it.
Two contacts should not be aware of each other, and neither of them should know your location!
